Alan and Debbie have been selling bags from their market stall for over 35 years, when the markets started to decline they opened their first BAG shop on Regent road in 2011.

This was going well until on the 5th August 2016 a devastating fire raised all the business to the ground, After having the Sunday off Alan and Debbie worked everyday trading in front of the old Stars nightclub, setting up the stock they had left on the floor, with this and the market stall they got through this tricky time and in Feb 2018 opened @Thebagshopgy on the sunny side of Regent Road.

The shop has grown from strength to strength and even a pandemic couldn't knock us back, now next on the agenda is a new website so we can sell our bags far and wide.
